# Silver Series

> Silver Series is a premium Great Barrier Reef dive and snorkel tour operator and part of the Quicksilver Group, operating two custom-designed vessels: Silverswift (departing daily from Cairns) and Silversonic (departing daily from Port Douglas). Each full-day tour visits three pristine, ecologically diverse Outer Great Barrier Reef sites for world-class scuba diving and snorkelling. Tours include certified and introductory diving, guided snorkelling, marine biologist guides, and a tropical lunch. Silversonic holds one of the few Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority permits to swim with dwarf minke whales when encountered.
